Open Scientific Conference in Rome

Proceedings of the Open Scientific Conference 2022

Introduction

The first conference this year took place at the end of August 2022. We were honored to host several esteemed speakers, experts in Economics and Finance. The Open Scientific Conference took place in a combined in person/online format due to continuing COVID-19 restrictions.

In the morning part, participants were welcomed by Helena Mittwallyová and Dr. Jiří Rotschedl. Their contribution was followed up by Ass. prof. Sławomir Kalinowski, Ph.D. with a keynote speech entitled "The concept of smart villages. Examples from Poland". It sparked an interesting discussion on the topic "Smart Village".

The presented research papers reflected the most recent scientific knowledge in the fields Microeconomics, Economic Policy, Finance and Regional Economy. Work-in-progress abstracts and full papers are included in this conference proceedings. I trust that this inspiring reading will serve as a useful reference book and will stimulate further research in these areas.

I would like to thank all authors for their outstanding contribution.
